About Us


In 2009, over a pint a beer at a pub in Herndon, Virginia FireLeague was properly born. Since that time we have worked diligently to create a site that is focused on one thing: Providing the best environment on the web for fantasy owners to compete. That doesn't simply mean we want to provide the best game play or the highest prize amounts. We want to change the way fantasy gaming sites serve their customers by promising to always put the customer first. It's an easy promise to make, but a difficult one to keep. We are committed to fulfilling that promise.


Who is FireLeague?

Chris Finch - (Co-founder and President)

Chris Finch

Chris has over 15 years experience in the IT industry and is also an avid (as well as horrible) fantasy football player. During the NFL regular season, unfortunately not during the playoffs, your best bet in finding Chris on a Sunday is to look for the TV tuned into the Tampa Bay Bucs game. Chris is a veteran of the armed forces (US Air Force).


Doug Norton - (Co-Founder and Vice President)

Doug Norton

Doug has over 20 years experience in the IT industry as both an engineer and a program manager. You'd be hard pressed to find a more rabid Washington Capitals fan. Doug is also a veteran of the armed forces (US Army) and he continues to serve as a reservist for the US Navy.

What is FireLeague?

Get in the game

Joining a FireLeague fantasy salary cap game is easy. In less than 5 minutes you'll be ready to start your quest toward fantasy greatness.

1. Register for a FireLeague account (no credit card necessary).

2. Pick your poison (Salary cap Standard, Elite and more).

3. Create your team and join a league or create a league and invite your friends to play.

Manage Your Team

As the General Manager of your very own Salary Cap team you start with $35-50M fantasy dollars to spend on players that will score points for you based on how they play in real-life games.

Increase your buying power through a dynamic market with price fluctuations (salaries updated daily). As player values rise and fall so does the overall value of your team.

The object of the game is simple, score more points than everyone else. Every owner picks from the same pool of players and works with the same salary cap. Unlucky draft positions and freak player injuries don't have to sideline your chances. This game takes skill!

Not only can you win cash prizes in each Elite league you participate in, you can also compete for thousands in global cash prizes.  Prizes aren't limited to the Elite game as we also offer cash prizes in the Salary Cap Standard game where entry is FREE.
